We have been learning all about angles, location, direction and scale in maths recently. Students love our math rotations and get to learn the same concept in different ways.
Key concepts we have been looking at:

- Compass points: North, South, East, West
- Direction: Clockwise / Anti-clockwise; Quarter turn, Half turn, Full turn
- Angles: Right angle = 90 degrees; Angles larger or less than a right angle
- Scale: For example, 1cm on map = 1 metre
St Helena Excursion
We had a wonderful day on our recent excursion to St Helena. It is a very long day for the students, but so worth it! I'm sure they think it's a wonderful adventure. Here are a few photos from our trip.
In the days following our excursion students learnt about adding detail to their writing by 'showing, not telling'.
